I am a Forensic Chemistry Major with DNA concentration at Towson University! I have been enrolled in at least one lab class every semester to ensure laboratory practices are mastered throughout my education career. I have held internship positions at Pompeian Olive Oil's Quality Lab, Howard County Police Department, and Baltimore County Police Department Crime Lab! I enjoy laboratory data analysis and put forth utmost effort to make sure my work is efficient and accurate. This has been displayed more recently through my Organic Chemistry journey receiving one of the highest grades in both lab and lecture for Organic Chemistry, as well as maintaining Deans list for 5 semesters in a row! I thoroughly enjoy chemistry and cell biology and have been pursuing the goal of becoming a Forensic DNA Analyst, which allows for the application of both of those subjects. My interests drive me to begin as a crime scene technician, and work my way up into a DNA lab in order to gain the experience from on scene work, to lab bench analysis! I also partake in many extracurricular activities such as the Towson University Marching Band, where I am the Clarinet Section Marching Leader, as well as the Forensic Science Student Organization, where I participate in many forensic science activates such as a police search and seminars. I am the Assistant Vice President of Special Projects of Towson Universities chapter of Tau Beta Sigma, a music leadership organization where we specialize in service with assisting the band and other bands at music events!My pride and passion lies within the field of Forensic Science and I can not wait to find my first position on a Crime Science Unit. I hope to work my way through the ranks to make it into the crime lab following my experience as a crime scene technician, so I am able to experience both sides of the analysis process. I am hungry for new knowledge as it develops around me and I am so excited to see where it takes me!
