Organize case files in a coherent fashion and analyze all the documents contained therein. Identify all factual and legal issues that need to be resolved at administrative hearings.Research all factual and legal issues necessary for the resolution of assigned cases, including locating and analyzing all applicable statutes and regulations, relevant decision of administrative bodies and courts, and secondary legal authority such as treatises and law review articles. Draft research memoranda concerning some of the more intricate statutes, regulations, and issues that appear before the OALJ. Research new case law.Interview applicants for externship positions, supervise externs, assign work to externs, answer questions, and review work product.
