As Latin America Regional Sales Manager for DigitalGlobe (now Maxar), Hansen grew regional business, identified large opportunities, built relationships and secured partnerships, negotiated complex transactions, led the Latin America sales territory by living in Brazil, resolved issues, presented to large groups, exceeded quotas, and received twice the Sales Manager of the Year award.As Special Projects Manager at CU Boulder, Hansen organized and facilitated programming, produced online and in-person events and festivals that highlighted the work of diverse and underrepresented musicians, led communications, and guided daily operations for the American Music Research Center. He created and maintained the center's website, edited public-interfacing videos, wrote and published news articles, led collaborations with campus staff and community stakeholders, facilitated PR, and helped build relationships of trust and cooperation. Hansen earned a B.S in Information Systems at Brigham Young University and is a long-time member of Toastmasters International where he has achieved advanced awards in leadership and communications and served in several leadership roles, including President of a local bilingual club in Denver. He speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese.Hansen is currently working for a civil engineering firm in downtown Denver where is helps facilitate a large mining project in Brazil.
