I have been employed in the Refinery & Petro-Chemical Industry for the past several years and in my career my positions have included the following and are listed from PRESENT to PAST:API – 510 / 570, QA and QC INSPECTOR - During my inspection career I have performed inspection duties on turnarounds, major construction projects, routine maintenance on units, vendor surveillance and pipeline work. My experiences include the inspection of pressure vessels, tanks, piping, structural steel, valves, coatings, insulation, refractory and fireproofing. Other inspection functions I have performed: Inspection supervisor during T/A’s, monitoring and mechanical testing of welder qualifications for certification to API, ANSI/ASME Codes, preparing and qualifying welding procedure specifications, auditing NDE contractor performance and film interpretation. (Familiar with MT, PT, UT and RT) PIPE WELDER - GTAW, GMAW, FCAW & SMAW in shop and field.
