As an experienced fundraiser with 20 years non profit experience, it excites me to develop my skills and adapt to various situations with donors, corporations, and volunteers.The larger the ask, the more excited I am to make the ask. Every dollar counts when it comes to fundraising for a specific mission, but it takes dedication and skill to secure large major gifts. I am an expert at building relationships with donors, corporations, and volunteers. I utilize the knowledge that I gain from these conversations to strategically build a plan that will help secure a larger gift from these individuals.The opportunity to pass this knowledge on to other staff and volunteer leaders is a core ability. I take the time to build the trust with them and allow them to have open conversations in order for us to develop the appropriate strategic plan that will lead us to success. This includes utilizing a strategy that I call "ABCD," Always. Be. Connecting. Dots. We do this together through exercises that allow us to to collectively go through our connections from the corporate community, social engagements, personal relationships, and ways to always keep the mission communication front and center at the appropriate time.Fundraising is a art and a science, I have developed ways to balance both of them to be extremely successful.
