He has a wide range of knowledge in many different aspects of engineering whether it be problem solving from prints, or getting his hands dirty working on equipment with the crew in the engine room. He is definitely in my opinion and many others that worked with him years ahead of his time in engineering for his age. Eric was great to work with and should be considered for any position whether it be shore side or on a vessel,he has the capability to run in the capacity of Chief Engineer and would not disappoint if given te opportunity. I look forward to working with Eric again in the future."
