Over 30 years of experience as a scientist in fields of hydrogeology, environmental site characterization and remediation. Design, plan, and oversee environmental assessments and remediation at sites throughout the United States, Australia, and Canada. Serve as a senior technical resource on projects for petroleum, commercial, industrial, and governmental/municipal clients. Experience in design, planning, and implementation of numerous remediation technologies including ISCO, ISCR, enhanced aerobic and anaerobic ISB, soil vapor extraction, air sparging, dual/total phase extraction, surfactant enhanced remediation, and groundwater extraction/construction dewatering. Led and presented at seminars on Connecticut soil regulations, soil re-use and remediation, vapor intrusion, and environmental land use restrictions in conjunction with the CT Development Agency (CDA) and the CT Brownfields Redevelopment Agency (CBRA). Served on workgroups with the CT DEEP to develop and publish guidance on groundwater monitoring and compliance, calculation of 95% upper confidence level, demonstration of background, and the evaluation and transformation of the state cleanup programs.
