Committed to helping others by providing clear and concise analysis of complex issues. I am at my best while helping others work through complex and challenging situations. Through my JD, I was able to develop invaluable research, communication, and critical thinking skills necessary to tackle complex legal and social issues. I put my skills into practice as a Caseworker with Student Legal Services by providing legal assistance and information to low-income members of the Edmonton Community. I developed professional etiquette and legal research skills by advocating for marginalized and underrepresented people in the Criminal Justice System. My experiences have also taught me how to thoughtfully listen and engage diplomatically with a variety of issues and perspectives. My undergraduate experiences defined this approach. At MacEwan I was a member of the Model U.N. Club where I participated in two award winning delegations at the National Model UN Conference in New York. I held an advisory position in the club which provided me with insight and knowledge in leadership, organization, and teaching. I value a constructive work environment, effective leadership, and meaningful relationships. I am interested in a career that will allow me to apply my knowledge and experience toward helping people solve challenging problems.
