Coordinate with multiple agencies.Responsible for operational aspects of scoping, design review, federal compliance, for multi-million dollar airport construction projects Ensure safe and orderly flow of air, ground, and pedestrian traffic in a large hub airport environment.Establish and maintain cost effective work schedules, keep subordinates and superiors informed on matters impacting department goals. Prepare and administer annual budget for division sections. Manage Operations capital improvement program, make recommendations for capital projects and equipment for the department.Participate in the planning, design, and construction phase of all airport construction projects, provide oversight of all airport construction projects to ensure safety, security and operational requirements are met. Responsible for management of staffing, supervision, performance management, disciplinary intervention, planning, budgeting, forecasting, policy administration.Research, identify, procure state-of-art technologies, systems for security, safety, passenger convenience, and revenue streams. Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts for various service providers. Responsible for planning and executing high profile events while ensuring Airport operational activities. Respond to media inquiries when Airport PR Director is not available.Daily coordination with executive levelmanagers, tenants, city, state and federal managers and agencies for mattersof airport operations.Act as and represent the Director of Airport Operations in his/her absence.Designated as Airport Security Coordinator.
