Many years ago I was partners in a small production company where I designed, built and ran systems from raw parts up to the finished show...Built the boxes, rack, and all the wiring from the main electrical distro down to the dmx wiring.. I am currently working at Pantera Productions with a nice RCF line array. I prefer to be FOH on my favorite desk the DiGiCo SD9, but if I need to hop over to monitors on a PM5d,LS9,MC7,X32..or whatever I don't mind..I am not a badass, but I can get around on our Hog3. I'd prefer to tune the room and start the show, but its never just that easy :)... And most Sundays I drive back to my home church and call cameras and mix the record-internet broadcast. Rock City Lubbock. It is usually replayed on Ustream.. And ... yes here is another and.. I am part of the office staff at On The Spot Construction as part of a team helping with excel, costs, time and people management, vehicle and machine maintenance, invoicing, minor IT, and wiring needs, and general supervision of certain projects...No wonder I sleep good at night..:)
