Stewardship is the responsibility of each generation that is the most important and perhaps the most challenging in regards to future generations. Knowing when and where to apply guidance and direction in contrast to allowing others to flourish is critical to the success and sustainability of our works. It can be particularly challenging to apply this to ourselves. To allow our inner thoughts and emotions the room to grow to our full potential. This is the idea that drives me forward in my career and in my life. Creating healthy and sustainable systems that ensures continued enjoyment of the good in life. It is what drew me to study climate change as it is that draws me to my own health and nutrition now. The journey is a difficult one, but I've always found learning to be at the center of enjoying the process.My current personal interests are in nutrition and disc golf. I am trying to be a better, healthier version of myself for the betterment of my son. Disc golf has given me an outlet for movement. Learning, growing, and pursuing goals. Nutrition has presented many interesting challenges. It is uniquely difficult to manage but the process has always been rewarding.My interests for study have lately taken root in data science and statistical analysis. Particularly when applied to complex environmental issues such as climate change or remediation of plastics and pollutants around the world. I have had a lot of experience with systems and find that I am happiest with a complex network of interactions to sort through and try to understand. As such, I try to learn as much as I can for the sake of learning. You never know when a piece of knowledge may come in handy.
