CurrentProvide support to the Utility Helicopter Project Office (UHPO) foreign military sales (FMS) cases. Develops initial and life-cycle provisioning strategies and country-specific recommendations, obtaining parts from US Army supply and non-US Army supply original equipment manufacturers (OEM), rough order or magnitude (ROM) pricing, develop estimates for spares packages based on configuration of aircraft, and inventory tracking.During and after fielding, provide support to ensure that country requests for spares receive timely procurement and delivery. Develop the ILS plan for the country from cradle-to-grave.Responsible for ensuring the total package approach and development of the fielding plan is executed for customer support after the initial delivery of aircraft. Work with the Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) and UHPO to identify, coordinate, and oversee training requirements. Support the PM, DPM, APMs, and functional staff in day-to-day accomplishment of issues and to ensure continuity of effort.Provide strategic, long-term advice and recommendations regarding interface with the customer country and the OEM on acquisition strategies and reviews. Act as a major spokesman by drafting all plans and correspondence and any other documents in direct support to the Product Manager's coordination and staffing of program decisions at senior Army staff levels.
