Poker Room Shift Manager
CurrentMy duties include managing the swing shift, managing the card count inventory, submissions to upper management for team member awards, dispute resolution, guest service, training and evaluating new and existing team members, assisting the room manager with innovative promotional and tournament ideas, interdepartmental communication and cooperation, social media posting for tournaments and special promotions, managing and directing tournaments, innovative ideas for tournaments including structures and payouts, manage staffing levels and contribute to the overall profitability of the room. I have recently been put in charge of Bingo activities for our new venture. My duties include staffing, advertising, inventory, and weekly management of events.In addition I am responsible for the game content as well as special event set up, payouts, and structure, the highlight of which was a Mother's Day event that attracted over 500 guests.
