As a communications assistant, I develop and execute a communications plan for Canada's Member of Parliament representing Winnipeg South. I write speeches and briefing notes focusing on everything from local cultural events to announcements of national importance. I draft letters of support for local organizations and individuals, and respond to letters from constituents in Winnipeg South who have questions or comments for the Government of Canada. I design brochures that are distributed throughout our riding, and I manage social media and website content.

As the Chief Returning Officer during UMSU's 2022 referendum, I was responsible for ensuring that all parties to the referendum were following all UMSU governing documents and bylaws. I was also responsible for creating supplementary rules that would govern this specific election, ruling on complaints, and submitting a final report to the UMSU board of directors.
