Too bad linked-in REQUIRES me to fill out a field for my line of work. There is NO field or category in the list provided by linked-in. So, I am a scale service technician. I sell, install, repair, calibrate, place in and out of service, industrial and commercial scales. Everything consumed for monies on this planet is weighed at some point. without a weight, it isn't sold. Job security at it's best. There are in actuality only a handful of technicians that service scales as it is a very niche line of work. This is my 18th year of servicing scales and although I have my Master's in Environmental Science, I still come back to this. Again, job security and more importantly, I actually have a career that only I can decide if I no longer wish to continue. Best of all, as a resident tech, I do my own scheduling and work load, all the while I have back-up and help from the corporate office. Commodities will continue to be weighed until the end of the human presence here on Earth. No worries about scale service going bankrupt.
