Supported high scrap issues of concern for General Motors on multiple parts at a low-pressure casting facility and was successful in identifying the top 5 scrap issues and increased the throughput by eliminating those barriers through focus on the details as they related to production. Work as a liaison with General Motors to support suppliers that are struggling to meet General Motors quality and production requirements in support of plant turn around for quality, efficiency, and delivery. Have supported General Motors as a Tool Analyst and visited multiple suppliers to review tool request inquiries for refurbishment or new tool builds. Analyze the tooling per the request and write report with concerns and findings relative to the request as well as initiate recommendations and cost savings.
