Responsible for all Corporate Safety, Environmental and Medical programs for Sony Pictures Entertainment.Manage EHS and Medical staff and provide oversight for locations throughout the world, including staffing, budgeting and project management. Current responsibility is comprised of 12 staff, employees and contractors, with budget responsibility of over $1.5M.Integral to Sony Pictures and Sony Corporation sustainability programs, developed strategy to set and meet corporate objectives, report progress and implement programs worldwide.Developed and implemented wellness programs in partnership with Human Resources and Facilities, e.g. expanded screenings and services - including registered dietician, physical therapy, travel medicine and dental services.Supported and served as security leadership for film marketing eventsMember of the Incident Assessment Team for SPE, supported crisis management programs, lead local emergency responses.Directed and implemented cost saving safety programs with Risk Management to reduce worker’s compensation claims and costs by 50%. Efforts included building a robust ergonomics program, a fall protection program and injury cause corrective action program.Developed and implemented comprehensive safety and environmental programs to meet legal requirements, the ISO14001 standard and corporate initiatives. Programs include stakeholder review, i.e. executives, legal, procurement, operations and business development.Directed efforts to attain ISO14001 registration for Sony Pictures Studios. Sony Pictures is the first large entertainment company in the world to be ISO14001 Registered.Led effort to provide comprehensive employee communication program addressing specific employee concerns through town hall meetings, training and written communication.
