Handled other complex commercial litigation matters involving auditor malpractice, governance matters, contractual disputes, and the recovery of assets for creditor’s committees of distressed and bankrupt companies. Responsibilities included conducting depositions; arguing motions in federal and state courts; drafting briefs and pleadings, including more than fifteen amended complaints under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act); preparing for trial, mediation and arbitration; managing document discovery; negotiating and drafting settlement papers; and supervising teams of lawyers.
