Contracting Officer

- Serve as the administrative contracting officer for the $25M Base Operation Service and Support (BOSS) contract and LOGCAP task order 0015 for Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras and managed 20 contracting officer representatives (CORs) overseeing 11 separate contract functional areas, including food services, custodial, tactical vehicle maintenance, facilities engineering (including minor construction), and logistics warehouse operations.- Team with CORs, unit policy personnel, legal counsel, and quality assurance personnel to monitor contract performance, enforce contract terms and conditions, issue contract non-conformance reports, and oversee contractor corrective action plans.- Enforce contractor compliance with applicable US, international, and host nation laws, to include combatting trafficking in persons (CTIP). - Draft and execute contract modifications for additional work within scope, administrative changes, option exercise, request for equitable adjustment, and incremental funding.- Coordinate and deconflict incumbent and successor contractor phase-in and phase-out plans and ensured that contractors completed all transition tasks, to include government-furnished property inventories- Assist supported organizations in refining the work requirements and implementing internal controls to manage cost, schedule, and performance risk. - Assist in the development of blanket purchase agreements (BPAs), indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts, and other ordering vehicles.- Assist supported organizations in the development of contract documents, to include statements of work (SOW), performance work statements (PWS), acquisition strategies and plans, independent government cost estimates (IGCEs), market research reports, and quality assurance surveillance plans (QASPs)
