I performed legal research and drafted memos and legal arguments in preparation for cases enforcing the Kentucky Consumer Protection Act. I also participated in preparation for oral arguments and hearings before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Kentucky and the Franklin County Circuit Court (KY). I was able to attend oral arguments before the Kentucky Supreme Court.

BRICC, which stands for Building Resiliency in Campus Community, is a coalition of groups on campus including Student Affairs, Student Government, the Greek community, campus police, University Athletics, etc. BRICC is focused on reducing alcohol and substance abuse at the University of Louisville and in the surrounding community.During my time on the Steering Committee, I engaged in discussions with representatives from the groups listed above, among others, on policies aimed at reducing high risk behavior at UofL. I also participated in presentations to the UofL Student Government Association Senate, the Council on Postsecondary Education, and the Brown-Forman Corporation.

I worked to encourage students to become civicly engaged at the local, state, and national level. I organized voter registration drives, brought a candidate for mayor to campus to speak with students, and organized and led a group of students on a trip to Frankfort, KY for the annual Rally for Higher Education.

Contacted voters on the phone and in person. Assembled and distributed fundraising solicitations. Performed opposition research, including making transcripts of past interviews.
