Responsible for continuing the update of the TimeTrack Web Calendar Application, managing database and application updates, providing support for clients and NSIP staff, and providing custom software solutions to in-house processes.

Implemented the Web-based TimeTrack System through PHP. This application closely mirrors the PC-based version of the TimeTrack Software, but provides the ability to access the system via mobile or desktop browser. The same functionality and features of the PC-based software are provided through an HTML-based web page interface, including calendars, reports, graphs and configuration screens.

Upgrades to the TimeTrack software for Version 3.0. The upgrades included:- Additions to the networking capability to allow for multiple servers on the same network and potential connections from outside the network.- Several updates to allow for users without administrative rights on the PC to work seamlessly with the database and other supporting files.- Added Backup options for the database to allow for manual backups and automated backups.- Added the ability to assign multiple resources to a single event, which allowed for more precise statistics of time spent with resources, whether in a group or individually.- Added additional options for saving graphs and calendars to PNG for smaller saved files sizes.- Added support for Themes, which allows the customer to create different options for presenting the calendar to the users, both in changing colors, layout, text, and font.- Added additional graphing options for graphs that contain many data points to be broken up in to user-defined pages of a fixed number of data points per page.- Added advanced graphing options for resources for better display and comparison of those resources.- Added descriptors for the Management Tasks, so that Management events can be tracked in the same level of detail as Instructional Tasks, including reports and graphs.- Added the ability to click and drag events on a calendar to reschedule them.

Designed, implemented and oversaw the development of a new product that allows for advanced integration with data devices, including Point of Sale systems, smart safes and IoT sensors.The device is designed to provide advanced functionality in a low-powered form-factor device with a simple to use web-based UI, written in Java/GWT & PHP and backend services written in C++, that also allows for normalizing the data and relaying that data to a cloud service for further analysis.

Continued development on the industry leading Image Vault PRO Command and COM DVR product lines. Helped with the successful end of life process for the product line with a 20 year history.

Successfully led development team, including managing contract developers through 20+ versions of software for the core DVR product of the Image Vault, LLC division; including two complete redesigns of legacy functionality. Led project management for both in-house developers and contract engineers, including off-shore and on-shore contract developers. Directed in-house testing efforts and provide engineering support to technical service team. Operated as primary technical contact for clients when developing new functionality to fit their specific needs.

Upgrades to the TimeTrack software for Version 2.0. The upgrades included:- Adding additional calendar options to include a daily calendar and a monthly calendar.- Adding Resource Associations to link calendar events to resources (such as a teacher's name or group of teachers), so that the principal can keep track of who time is spent with and who needs more attention, etc.- Added support for recurring events.- Added the ability to save graphs and reports.- Added the ability to network multiple instances of the application so that multiple clients can use/modify the same database.- Added several calendar enhancements for easier entry/modification/viewing of events.

Implemented the TimeTrack Software Application to help track the time spent by school principals. The application focused on entering duties and tasks of the principal into a built-in calendar with the goal of determining where what time was spent on instructional duties versus management duties. The tool was then used to set goals for increasing the time spent on instruction, allowing for the SAM to take over management duties. The application also provides graphs and statistics for the data collected, so progress can be seen on a daily, monthly and yearly basis, as well as, comparing multiple years.
