I am an AV Installation technician and Certified Technology Specialist, certified by Avixa/Infocom. I am VoIP certified by Biamp. In addition to doing installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of AV systems, I have led projects in new construction and renovation. I have experience installing and troubleshooting Extron, Crestron, Biamp, Shure, and AMX equipment. I have completed the Crestron CTI-P101 Foundations of Crestron Programming class. I am currently taking classes on Dante and have been working with it in the field.

Lewisville Texas

At Delcom, I ran cable in ceilings and walls, installed projectors, screens, transmitters, receivers, speakers, as well as other Extron devices for schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Most of the time we worked night shifts so it didn't disrupt classes, and sometimes we worked on newly constructed schools, or removed devices to install them at new locations when a school moved to another location. When I did work in classrooms, I focused on doing a quality install, but also to make sure not to take anything apart that we couldn't get operational by the next time the teachers and students returned to class the next day. I also put a high priority on cleanliness, and putting furniture or anything else I have to move back in the places that I found it, so when faculty and students returned it was as if we were never there. I started at Delcom as a temporary contractor and was quickly hired on full time and promoted to a lead installation position, where I managed crews of 3 to 5 people at a time. I was responsible for picking up all product, materials, drawings, and anything else we would in order to complete installations before shifts started. I communicated with the school districts about projects we were working on, solved problems in the field, read drawings and reflected ceiling plans, took inventory of products when they were delivered to a job site, programmed IP addresses on devices, tested systems after installation was completed, and I made sure all installations were done with Delcom's best standards and practices.

Chicago Illinois

At Frequency AV, I assisted with the installation of cables, speakers, projectors, screens, TVs, Crestron and Extron devices in conference rooms. I also terminated CAT 5 cables and helped build racks for clients. During this time, I also did contract labor as a technician helper for FinleyProductions, Prod 44, and PSAV, setting up and taking down AV equipment for live events.

Prosper, Texas

At Liberty Building Technologies, I assisted with installation, service, and inspections of fire alarm systems. I also did administrative work in the office, which included filing, keeping inventory and making spreadsheets of all product, answering phones, taking messages, and receiving product and mailing packages.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

At Dr Delphinium I had a route of 50 accounts that I went to on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis where I installed and maintained plants in corporate offices and residential homes. I frequently created orchid, succulent and some floral designs. I helped set up and take down decorations for holidays, weddings, and other special events. I was responsible for maintaining my work van and creating the most efficient routes for my accounts, as well as providing great customer service.
