Lead and managed all aspects of operations for a maritime anhydrous ammonia barge terminal including terminal operations, financials, reliability, compliance, and safety. Interacted and complied numerous government agencies including Dept. of Ag, MTSA, Dept. of Transportation, and OSHA PSM. Managed the reliability of the process and equipment through adherence to PM’s in place using a CMMS. Managed the vetting and oversight of contractor personnel during projects and repairs. Asbestos Manager certified. Hazwoper Technician certified.

Elkhart, Indiana Area

Managed 29 employees during 2 shifts in the Laminated Mattress Department in daily operations and production while maintaining inventory control and lead time scheduling. Assisted in the development of new packaging processes for new mattress lines. Lead the department as it doubled in size including training of new personnel and the development of new assembly line processes.

Jacksonville, Florida Area

Served on board the USS Underwood (FFG-36) from August 2003 until July 2007. Supervised 10 personnel as Work Center Supervisor for the Engine Room Division, scheduling maintenance and work routines for hydraulic and lubricating oil systems, gas turbine engines, sea water systems, and auxiliary equipment in the Main Engine Room. Was a member of several training teams including VBSS, Engineering and Damage Control, coordinating drills and training personnel for response and operations in each discipline. I also served as my Division's Training Officer. I worked closely with team members during critical operations as a breacher for Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) missions, including inspection boardings, meet and greet boardings, and non-compliant boardings.
