In this role Eric was tasked with disseminating product information to various internal groups to help marketing, community and sales team understand the new products coming into market from strategic supplier partnerships. Eric would provide the technical information but also how it was to relate to the customer and the problems that that product would help solve. Some of these products would include Single Board Computers like Beagle Bone, addon accessories for Raspberry Pi and other platforms and development boards for customers to more easily evaluate components in new designs.

In this role, Eric had responsibilities as a Product Author but globally focused on Europe, Asia and North America. This would include internal customers from three different regions of the business to serve customers around the world.

Development of Marketing Copy Produce marketing content for products and build product layouts for all media as required Liaise with Product Management to collect & maintain marketing information to help promote products in various channels Make amends on regional STEP and regional back office system Build all publication hierarchiesData Management Responsible for data approval of technical attributes, short description, documents and images. Create and maintain the product taxonomy used for publishing and indexing Responsible for the data quality in the STEP system and their respective websites Continually look at ways of improving SEO through keywords and indexing Administering the New Product Introduction create process Daily administration of the NPI process to bring new products to market. Liaising with Suppliers and Product Managers to gather, organize and time all required collateral for customer presentation in all channels.Process Management Understanding of core processes used to create and manage technical content. Utilize workflow to complete the data enrichment process and build modules for publications.
