NHN Business platform = Naver Transferred to NHN Business Platform(NBP) when it was spun off from NHN. Built and implemented IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) security management process to improve security in connection with access to Access Control List (ACL) and VPN. Planned, installed, and implemented 24x7 security management system, DDos defense system, Intrusion Detection System and Wireless Intrusion Prevention System to enhance overall network security. Led design, development, and implementation of a solution to prevent, detect, and remove viruses coming from Hangame, blogs, Cafes, Mail and N-drives in NHN’s services Created malicious code analysis center to establish database of malicious codes, sharing of malicious code samples/patterns with antivirus vendors, and protect against any malicious code threat. Developed and installed a solution to detect and auto-remove Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) attacking the office of NHN groups. Developed and implemented wireless network security policies and procedures. Built Intrusion Detection System (IDS) for NHN offices in China, Japan, U.S.A., Vietnam, Singapore and German. Installed next-generation vaccine solutions for servers at IDC. Currently, working on the development/implementation of various security systems, including automatic malicious code/file analysis system, email APT detection/auto-removal system, and 10Gbps IDS.

NHN = Naver Recruited by NHN to develop and implement information security solutions and troubleshoot anomalies in network. Performed vaccination to protect against computer viruses, network and perimeter monitoring to ensure reliability/security of IDC, administration of patch management tools, installation/maintenance of network firewall, and installation/administration of Intrusion Prevention System (IPS). Developed and Installed 2-step authentication process to enhance security of Next Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) VPN. Built and maintained a large-scale IDS to monitor network traffic (70Gbps) of IDC. Acted as project manager to plan, develop, and implement wireless network security system. Developed and implemented network security solutions and anti-spam systems for foreign offices of NHN(Korea, Japan, China, USA)
