My experience in the field audit has covered primarily oil and gas companies. However, they are centric on marketing of petrochemical and/or petroleum products. Other industries includes retail, logistics and even manufacturing companies. Below are a summary of key responsibilities in my current field.Leadership Skills- Guided and coached junior staff members into the idea behind auditing.- Managed and adhered to the reporting deadlines provided by companies which has improved my time management skillsTechnical Skills- Reviewed and appraised internal controls of companies and provided suggestions for improvement if necessary. - Reviewed and prepared current and deferred taxation computations- Reviewed cash flow projections and the assumptions used to derive those projections- Performed various procedures as agreed to address the specific needs of stakeholders- Reviewed and prepared draft financial statements to ensure compliance to MFRS/IFRS and Companies Act, 2016/Labuan Act 1990 disclosure requirements.
