I am currently a Process Operator at Mother Parker's Tea and Coffee. My duties include roasting and grinding coffee to specifications, troubleshooting mechanical issues with all equipment involved in the process, performing quality control checks consistently to ensure all production standards are met and technical support for the SCADA system and regulating software used to regulate the production and quality of the product we produce. I am a graduate from Ryerson University, with a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering. During my studies I completed five co-op terms within the water treatment industry; three for the Municipality of the Region of Peel and two with the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA). This experience combined with my studies of water and wastewater techniques and technologies have provided me with an excellent foundation for a career in the water treatment industry. Many of these skills and the knowledge that I have accumulated can also be applied to a wide range of industries. I also had the opportunity to complete courses about biochemistry, plastics technology, optimization techniques and process simulation. I am confident that combined my studies, my experience and my work ethic make me a strong candidate for a wide variety of positions in a broad range of industries.
