Validate if projects are within the core competency of our manufacturing capabilities.*Predict manufacturing expense via cost estimation tools I developed in combination with historical profit statistics for similar products and processes.*Oversee customer communication throughout the quotation process and job startup process.*Manage all new project awards including: Leading quotation and design reviews with engineering and the customers prior to order acceptance.Delivering customer project milestones and anticipated delivery.Overseeing adherence to customer quality requirements.Creating timelines and action items for manufacturing departments and vendors involved in the project.*Designate priorities and resources during tooling design and fabrication.*Supervise throughout sampling process and process validation.*Maintain communication with customers throughout a project to confirm project status.*Direct completion of customer quality testing prior to submission of PPAP documentation.Accomplishments: -Created and optimized new job costing calculators to minimize potential for mistakes and decrease steps required to generate quotations by 70%.-Generated formal review and procedures utilized during design review and sampling processes to mitigate historical mistakes and document all processes for analysis and project closeouts.-Trained full time estimator on foundry process, machine capabilities, and best quoting practices to benefit the company and our profits.-Managed a team of 4 employees over the course of 9 months validating and converting all existing production criteria and records into a new ERP system. This included sourcing and purchasing all computers, servers, operator display terminals, and remote floor kiosks in order to leverage visual work instructions and production metrics available in the software.
