– Design and develop novel thermal systems technologies in automotive applications (4 patents pending)– Lead a cross functional team of engineers on advanced projects; deliver dynamic analytical model, draft DFMEA, physical prototype (working with supplier), DVP&R, control strategy, patent (if applicable), and preliminary cost analysis for each new technology project– Advanced physics based models using multi-state dynamics, multi-variable optimization strategies, and moving boundary models for multi-phase heat exchangers were also created in Matlab/Simulink– Attend key conferences worldwide and present as a technical expert on various technologies. Public presentations and papers have included topics in engine cooling modeling, optimization strategies for multi-variable systems, Organic Rankine cycles, and other coolant/refrigerant based system designs– Teach undergraduate engineering courses at Oakland University pertaining to Matlab, Simulink, and state of the art automotive thermal system technologies– Design projects for Oakland University undergraduate elective automotive engineering course– Organize and lead team-building activities (escape rooms, team cookouts, team outings to sporting events, etc.); bring energy and enthusiasm to the team
