As a Risk Management Coordinator, I provide support to the Risk Management Department regarding all aspects of corporate insurance programs. Basically, if there's an element of risk to be managed, transferred or eliminated, I work in collaboration with my department to deal with it. My responsibilities include: Compiling, researching and comparing internal and external loss data into actionable reports that inform company leadership and drive loss prevention initiatives. Assisting in collecting and maintaining underwriting submissions, actuarial reports and audits for the corporate insurance programs which support the company's workplace injury, general liability, auto, property, cyber and other kinds of liability. Determining and managing subrogation and recovery efforts for property and workplace injury claims. This includes researching loss expenses, coordinating recovery strategy with third party recovery specialist and maintaining data on recoverable losses.Supporting all department accounting tasks including managing the department budget and paying TPA claims management fees, insurance program premiums and other cash calls. In coordination with other SME's, I maintain the company's hazardous material communication and compliance plan as well as coordinate multi-site company Emergency and Evacuation Procedures.
