From professional chef to US Marine I have been working for many years and accumulating a variety of skills; however my best work experience thus far has been within financial services. I have worked at a number of buy-side firms and recently at a sell side bank and I am targeting a return to the industry. My military experience taught me the importance of hard, accurate work and has instilled in me the crucial need to always accomplish the mission at any cost. Embodying these values has allowed me to succeed both academically and professionally. My education from Columbia University has formalised my education and cemented much of the knowledge that I have otherwise been able to learn.And finally, my prior work experience has taught me what it takes to work within financial services and be an investment banker. I have learned many of the hard skills, and more importantly have practiced many of the soft skills as well. Now that I am finally graduating, I look forward to breaking back into the industry and using my unique skill set at a firm which needs it.
