I am a Systems Engineer, Information Security Officer, and Deputy Program Manager. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Cybersecurity. I have a Master's degree in Cyber Security and information assurance from Western Governors University as well as two Bachelor's degrees. One in Computer Technology and Information Sciences and a second Bachelor's degree in Military Intelligence. Both of which are from American Military University. My core competencies include risk management framework (RMF), NIST and STIG compliance, system security planning and maintenance, and user access control methods. As well as cyber security work including incident triage, verifying systems, SEIM, intrusion prevention system alerts, incident response, and more. Utilizing tools and programs to verify user actions or malice. Training new hires, review/create documentation, QC work and show areas of improvement. I am passionate about protecting critical IT data and systems from cyber threats and enhancing the security posture of the organization. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have a background in military intelligence and system administration.
