Co-led the Privacy Compliance Group in implementing first-in-class compliance initiatives and the systemization of privacy protections throughout the lifecycle of Department systems, projects, and programs.

Served as a Co-Leader of the PwC Federal Privacy Practice, providing strategic direction on business development and client relations and performing the duties of Capture Manager on high value dollar pursuits leading to award and revenue growth year over year. Led a public sector engagement in identifying, evaluating, and managing privacy compliance risks.

Advised the Secretary and facilitated the recruitment, decision, investigative, and hiring processes on appointments to political leadership positions within the Department. Coordinated with the White House on Presidential appointments and those requiring Senate confirmation. Led the Secretary’s and Chief of Staff’s personnel and organizational working groups and coordinated Homeland Security policies, initiatives, and activities with the White House.

Advised the President’s Homeland Security Advisor on Homeland Security Executive Orders, Presidential Directives, policy, and legislation including the creation and stand-up of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Assisted with homeland security Policy Time with the President, Presidential event briefings and speeches, Homeland Security Principals and Deputies Committee meetings, and Policy Coordinating Committees.
