I worked full time as a medical assistant at AFC Urgent Care in North Andover, Massachusetts.

I worked as a full-time EMT for Care Plus Ambulance.

I worked as an EMT at club sports events. We provided sideline medical care for any injuries that occurred.

During my time in the lab, I have learned many techniques including fish hatchery maintenance, radioimmunoassay, and high performance liquid chromatography. I have also learned a great deal about how a cutting edge research laboratory operates. During the summer of 2015, two other undergraduate students and I took lead on our own project investigating the relationship between thyroid and pituitary hormones in the sea lamprey. We conducted the experiment successfully with a great deal of independence and limited oversight. This experience was, and continues to be, an integral component of my scientific education. I worked as a teaching assistant for the EMT course taught at the McGregor Institute of EMS. I taught future EMTs practical skills such as trauma assessment, splinting, bleeding control, and other essential skills.
