Developed written materials for briefings, meetings and conferences for varied audiences, including Japanese government officials. Provided technical assistance and consultation of training, exercise and evaluation programs at the international, regional and local level for emergency response management programs. Served as an advisor/consultant to local government officials, fire departments and emergency response agencies. Designed and developed a public health training, exercise and evaluation program that coordinated a US/Japanese response. Researched forward thinking processes to secure funding for the restoration of multi-function live fire training areas and ranges. Utilized geospatial mapping and real time Geographic Information System (GIS) applications to map key infrastructure, cultural and archeological landmarks, maintenance and waste generation facilities, and storm water runoff points. Executive member of a Joint US / Japan Environmental Governing Board responsible for establishing policy regarding Japanese environmental governing standards.
