My leadership style is best described by Patrick Lencioni's "Hungry, Humble, Smart" meets " Committed, Caring, Trustworthy." As an executive for 15 years, I've led teams with these characteristics, resulting in the multi-million-dollar growth of an organization and, more importantly, the growth of the individuals who enabled it to excel. Now, as a Vistage Chair, I strive to continue my path in helping others succeed, building a team of CEOs and business owners that are compassionate, want to challenge each other, and are committed to each other's personal and professional development. Investing in a start-up and leading, growing, and supporting the organization from $0 to a successful sale at $240M in revenue, I've experienced many challenges that many leaders regularly face— especially being the obstacle to my own challenges. By becoming a member of a Vistage group, I was able to collaborate with other executives who helped me process issues and transition to where I am today. The experience was invaluable. As a Chair, I couple the insight and knowledge I gained as an executive and the value I experienced as a Vistage member myself and share that with my Peer Advisory Group. By creating a space of comradery and trust where CEOs and business owners can share challenges and insights, my group members can maximize their potential as leaders and reach new levels of success in their businesses and lives. When I am not empowering leaders to maximize their potential, I can be found enjoying my family, road biking, playing pickleball, golfing, or grilling out and smoking meat.
