Construction of UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply Systems) with the support of Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering 2 ½ years.Working alongside a team of Engineers, Electricians, Apprentices/ Trade Assistants, or individually in manufacturing, testing, and offsite servicing and maintenance of battery banks + various chargers and UPS units.Construction and building of PCB Boards(integrated circuit boards), Control circuit cabling, Power circuit cabling, PLC cabling, Data Cabling (Cat Rated), and, Sensor cabling.Work to the Relevant Australian Standards on wiring and testing of Electrical works/ systems.Tested electrical equipment for 1 ½ years and inspected Switchboards, MCRII, UPS/battery banks, Solar Skids, UPCs, SMCR, Emergency Chargers, SMC, SMR, Variacs, and 100kva Inverters.Conducted Client Factory Acceptance Tests along with battery maintenance tests and charger maintenance reports.Testing and verification of electrical equipment through point-to-point electrical installations, insulation resistance testing, functional testing, communication methods, fault finding, and problem resolution. Software and hardware methods testing via communicating with PLC and relay logic to calibrate and verify the functionality of electrical equipment to the client specifics.Worked in the maintenance and service department for 8 months, answering off-site client emails/ calls, onsite inspection of equipment around the Perth metro area, service and maintenance of various chargers, fault finding and reactive maintenance on equipment, Using Vans and trucks to transport equipment/ personnel, writing reports, documentation and photo verification of jobs, using job tracking software Ipads.Installation, replacement, repair, or commissioning of electrical equipment on client sites to verify the electrical equipment is operating correctly and safely to ensure the process continues.
