I believe that the natural world and its incredible diversity provide a healing antidote to many of life's struggles. From an early age, the values of nature, adventure and family were deeply ingrained. As an Asian-American raised in the US and overseas by a first-generation immigrant, these experiences shaped my perspectives and lit my interests for exploring the natural world and it's many cultures. This belief expanded into deeper curiosity and led me to studies in ecology and the sciences that link natural systems. After graduating with an Environmental Studies degree, I was drawn to work and experiences that explored nature and environment and the role humans play across the globe. I enjoy sharing ideas and building on the enthusiasm of others. And while nature is my sanctuary, thought exchange with others, no matter how small, inspires me.
