At the Sports Medicine Centre in Kanata, ON and the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club, I work with an injury prevention device called KangaTech. KangaTech is a strength testing machine used to find any symmetrical imbalances and find where the strengths and weaknesses are throughout the body. Once those symmetrical imbalances are exposed, we can then direct the athlete/patient with exercises to improve on those imbalances and prevent injury and/or relieve current pain or dysfunction.Another service I offered at the Sports Medicine Centre is Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST). FST is a table-based assisted stretching technique used to not only stretch muscles, but the connective tissue and fascia as well. This technique helps to restore and maintain the overall health of the musculoskeletal and neurological systems. It can be used as a maintence or rehabilitation treatment and can be paired with almost any other form of physical therapy.I have competed internationally in Boblseigh with Team Canada in the 2021-2022 season and have been a member of Ontario Bobsleigh since 2019.I have completed a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion at Algonquin College.
