My name is Eric J. Monk, and I am an experienced professional with a successful career in operations management. With a strong background in mechanical engineering, I began my journey at XP Power in 1991 as a drafter after graduating from North Hunterdon High School in Annandale, New Jersey. Over the course of my 32 years with the company, I have consistently excelled, displaying exceptional skills and a deep commitment to my work.I was promoted to the role of 3D Mechanical Design Engineer in the year 2000, where I played a critical role collaborating with my team members in designing several new product lines for XP Power. Recognized for my expertise and dedication, I was then elevated to the position of Production Manager in 2016. Under my leadership, the production team achieved remarkable success, resulting in increased efficiency and productivity.In 2020, my abilities were once again acknowledged, as I was appointed interim Director of Operations. During my three-year tenure, my team spearheaded the expansion of the production space and personnel, achieving a significant 45% increase in revenue for our facility. My skills in streamlining operations, managing resources, and fostering a productive work culture contributed to this accomplishment. I voluntarily stepped down from this position to better align my skillsets for the facility, becoming the Sr. Operations Project Manager.Outside of my professional achievements, I am enthusiastic about community engagement and have spent over 20 years coaching various youth sports teams within my community.
