• Provide comprehensive counseling services for students including academic, career, and personal and life transitions counseling on an appointment and drop-in basis• Conduct intake interviews and interpret assessment information to assess eligibility for The Network Scholars• Actively recruit students for Network Learning Community from pools of students at Fresno City College and incoming freshmen• Assist students in clarifying their educational goals, selection of courses, and developing Student Education Plans (SEPs)• Collaborate with instructional and counseling faculty including but not limited to following departments: English, English for Multi-lingual Students, Math, Extending the Classroom, General Counseling, and Transfer Center• Participate in the implementation of transfer and matriculation activities• Employ use of counseling methods and student development theories to support student learning and identification of career objectives• Provide counseling support specific to the needs of those on probation and/or disqualification• Participate in the planning and rolling out of Fresno City College’s Summer Bridge Program• Work with community partners (Fresno Adult School, Del Mar Elementary, North Point Community Church) in working with adults taking off-campus EMLS courses to matriculate into FCC, enroll in courses, and plan for future courses

The purpose of this program, is to provide parents of children, ages 0-­8 with background knowledge, techniques, and resources to confidently step into the role of being their child's first teacher, strengthening literacy, math, social and emotional skills, in an age-­appropriate way. This program offers parent workshops in local school districts and typically serves low-­income and English Language Learner families.• Partnership building and program growth: 30k net goal, 2016-2017, 56K net goal, 2017-18 – Both goals exceeded• Oversee program that provided over 450 parent workshops throughout Fresno, Madera, Selma, Parlier, Stratford and other surrounding communities. • Maintain communication with partnering districts during startup of workshop series, during, and after completion of services• Startup communication and coordination with site level staff• Management of record collection, data entry and analysis• Site visits for quality assurance, provide staff with feedback and coaching• Co-coordinate locally customized messages sent out through Bright By Text to share local events and resources• Research best practices and provide input on curriculum customization• Research pricing/costs for needed items, create online and catalogue orders for items needed• Establish partnerships in the community in order to obtain donated or discounted services to benefit RTL • Participate in trainer recruitment processes, including interviewing and selecting of new trainers• Assist with phone calls to/from parents, translation and outreach• Provide troubleshooting and problem solving support for trainer team • Developed a comprehensive summer learning calendar for parents for every weekday of the summer to keep their children engaged to avoid summer learning loss, including instructions for each activity in English and Spanish. • Offer feedback to VP and Coordinator in order to make program adjustments, improvements and additions
