I absolutely love being a Security Systems Sales Engineer & Estimator. I have had the privilege to work with some of the best commercial electronic security integration companies in the US/World, alongside some of the brightest and most passionate fellow security professionals. My successful commercial security sales career prepared me well for the world of security systems design and engineering. I apply maximum effort daily to the ongoing accumulation of industry knowledge, system design engineering skills, and the creation and implementation of technical writing-Scope of Work templates. I am proud of having been an integral part of the Stanley Security Field Sales Estimator (FSE) five-person team, that successfully created and wrote the Scope of Work templates, required on commercial jobs over $50k. Communicating effectively and constructively is another successful salesperson skill that transferred over to my success as an FSE. To be successful in this crucially important role, one has to be able to communicate effectively as well as understand the needs and the goals of the salesperson and or operations team member one is supporting and ultimately of course, the end user, whether that is the salesperson or the customer.
