KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Executing the objectives of the Board of Directors in line with the overall strategy and objective of the company.• Prepare and coordinate Board meetings and ensure matters arising thereof are fully implemented.• Budget preparation in liaison with department heads, financial management, assets and overall cash and bank positions management.• General overall management of the business. Includes engaging all service providers of the company and continuous monitoring .• Overseeing the production process to ensure we manufacture quality products at the most competitive prices.• Spearhead the Sales and Marketing face of the company. Monitor and control debtors and creditors at all times to ensure payments are made timely.• Human Resource Management – Evaluating and managing employee relations and evaluating appraisals and recruitment, training and disciplinary decisions. • Leading the team in implementing Quality Management Systems with preparations of all requisite SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) with an emphasis in Good Manufacturing Practices .• Regular review of the market and business environment for timely decision making for review of Strategy in liaison with department heads and the Board of Directors.• Business review and direct supervision of all departments to ensure optimization of resources in attainment of the company objectives.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:• Successfully turned around Sphinx Pharmaceuticals within one year as per mandate. This included Financial, regulatory and staff motivation and retention.• Built high performing teams for existing and the new businesses complete with work plans and working long term strategies.• Reviewed Business and supervised directly all departments to ensure 100% optimization of resources in attainment of the company objectives.• Led the team in implementing Quality Management Systems with preparations of all requisite SOPs with an emphasis of 100% Good Manufacturing Practices.
