Parsons Center

I support both Milford high schools and the alternative school. Includes multiple specialized programs throughout the district including students in high schools in alternative schools. I oversee varying types of transition programs and coordinate services with outside agencies to help support families and students.

Stratford, Ct

I supervised programs for students with disabilities in two high schools, two middle schools, an alternative school, multiple specialized programs and an 18-21 transition program. I also supervised school social workers, psychologists, speech therapists and oversaw the OT/PT department. I ensured all accommodations for state testing for students were implemented correctly. I coordinated services from BESB for student with visual impairments.

I taught SpEd English courses, Resource Support courses, co-taught English classes for 9th, 11th and 12th grades. I chaired the Data Team for two years, developed the ISS program as part of a small team.

Taught at a local middle school, self-contained class for students with severe emotional and behavioral challenges.
