Conducted numerous Jury and Bench Trials at both the Felony and Misdemeanor level, present hundreds of cases to grand juries as a member of the Violent Felony Unit, Special Investigations Unit, and General Crimes Unit; including attempted murder, manslaughter, robberies, vehicular assaults and driving while intoxicated offenses, conducted pretrial hearings before local, city, and county court judges, drafted and argued numerous memorandums of laws, one of first ADAs in New York State to conduct “double-blinded” photo array pretrial hearing.

Provided legal assistance to in-house counsel. Drafted and reviewed project agreements, confidentiality agreements, and human resource policies and procedures. Researched and wrote interoffice legal memorandums of law.

As part of the SUNY Buffalo Law practicum, I was assigned to intern for Mrs. Trott. As her law clerk, I conducted research and drafted motions and pleadings. I attended trials, hearings, and conference in City, County, Supreme, and Family Court. I also helped develop trial strategies and interviewed witnesses and clients.

Observed civil and criminal court proceedings, including in-chamber conferences; drafted summary judgment motions.

Conducted legal research and writing for School Districts and Municipalities regarding labor negotiations, employment disputes, and various education law matters; attended education law presentations and conferences.

Conducted legal research and writing for Assistant Attorney Generals including writing briefs, memorandums, and motions; attended article 78 proceedings.

Conducted legal research and writing for Assistant District Attorneys; attended local and county court hearings, conferences, and trials.

Worked as a tutor with students from city of Buffalo middle and high schools; helped seniors write college applications, mentored students on college and life decisions, gave workshops on dieting, school violence, and cultural enrichment.
