Eric Paulk will build a nationwide network of Black HIV movement lawyers to protect, defend, and support communities of people living with HIV through policy and other reform measures.

Oversees all day-to-day operations and develops and manages local, state, and federal policy and advocacy activities that advance equity and fairness for LGBTQ communities and improves public and private responses to the HIV epidemic. Additionally, oversees all programmatic field organizing work which includes oversight of community engagement, community mobilization and related communication and education initiatives to ensure that Georgia Equality's policy programs and strategies serve its mission, goals, and high standards of service, accuracy, and excellence. Leads fiscal management, budgeting, donor cultivation and fundraising, and all staff supervision and development to ensure organizational sustainability.

Leads HIV policy and advocacy efforts, managing all federal, state, and local efforts to secure systemic policy changes, reduce HIV-related health disparities, and promote greater health equity among people living with and vulnerable to HIV acquisition.

Pursue impact litigation, legislative change, advocacy, and public education to address inequities in policies and laws impacting Black and non-Black LGBTQ communities of color and Black and non-Black communities of color living with HIV and vulnerable to HIV acquisition. My areas of interest and knowledge are in the fields of HIV in the Law, Healthcare Law, Civil Rights Law, and Education Law.
