As a leader on the corporate government relations team, led legislative and regulatory advocacy at both the Federal and State levels for many corporate-wide and business specific issue areas. These areas have included among others commercial and consumer financial services, trade, tax, pensions, asset management, labor, energy and appropriations. In the global arena, he has worked on various proposals involving bank taxes, accounting reforms, Basel III's capital and liquidity requirements, bank structure matters, resolution and crisis management regimes, derivatives regulation, the EU consumer credit directive, foreign ownership restrictions and rate and fee caps.

Assisted in managing the White House Office of Legislative Affairs by serving as the West Wing Deputy coordinating and executing the President's legislative advocacy strategy to the House of Representatives and the Senate as well as for integrating the White House Legislative Affairs office with the policy development offices of the White House (NSC, NEC, OPD, USTR, etc.).
