AmRisc, LLC is the largest CAT focused MGA/MGU focusing primarily on catastrophe driven property risks with over $2.3B of gross written premium which is split approximately 75% E&S and 25% Admitted. AmRisc is under the umbrella of Truist Insurance Holdings. Business is written through the wholesale distribution channel through Waypoint and through the retail distribution channel through Chronos Underwriters with each of these distribution channels capable of producing both E&S and Admitted business. The E&S Group CUO is responsible for the profitability of the E&S property book, administration of corporate underwriting guidelines and standards, and strategic underwriting planning and development.
