Served as the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) East Coast Training Coordinator supporting the PMS 505T Training Lead in Mayport, FL. Coordinated training for pre-commissioning and replacement crews supporting the Fleet Introduction of Freedom Class LCSs. Responsible for maintaining and updating LCS manpower documents that include Pre-commissioning Crew Sequencing Phasing Plans (CSPP), Pre-Commissioning Ship Manning Documents (PSMDs) and Navy Training System Plan (NTSP) documents. Analyzed and made sound manning and training recommendations to PMS505T, LCSRON-2 staff, PERS 41 and 403D and NAVMAC regarding current and future training changes based on current baselines and future equipment upgrades through Ship Change Documents (SCDs) and other emergent training requirements recognized by the LCS community. Managed the East coast travel budget upwards of $1 million, which allowed LCS pre-commissioning Sailors to travel and attend critical training requirements outside of homeport in order to meet time-to-train criteria contained in each of the crews’ CSPPs. Responsible for keeping LCSRON-2 and PMS 505T leadership informed of current and future training metrics through white papers, power point presentations and comprehensive excel spreadsheets that assist in making informed decisions.
