Account Manager
CurrentResponsible for growing and maintaining account relationships and performance. I provide a wide array of scientific equipment, consumables, and chemicals sold to a variety of scientific accounts. Government, Industrial, Medical and Educational organizations focused on; chemical, biological, analytical, pharmaceutical research and production make up the dominant portion of my customers. My position is responsible for managing all aspects of the sales process and account maintenance including product recommendation and selection, order placement, technical issue resolution, manufacturer/user interface, collection and payment reconciliation. Other responsibilities include, adding new suppliers and maintaining existing vendor relationships, supplier contract pricing negotiations and compliance. My computer skills and sensitivity to customer requirements have led to involvement with corporate IT improvement projects, back office development of a new website, and maintenance of promotions.
